N&S is located in Portugal - Algarve (Vila do Bispo municipality) at the heart of the Natural Park: "Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina". 1 km away from Zavial ´s beach and 1.5 km from Ingrina´s beach.
N&S lives inside a 1.6 hectars land.
The original houses were built in 1985 and this was V.´s holiday house since she was 7 years old....
The land and the surroundings were later (1988) considered part of a Natural Park and from then on there was building and development limitation, in order to preserve the beautiful landscape, fauna and flora.
Due to unfortunate circunstances these houses were abandoned for around 12 years.
By the end of 2020, after many challenges, it was finally possible to rebuild the space and give it a new soul - Nature & Soul - that was only introduced to the world in the summer of 2021.
We tried, as much as possible, to maintain the original architecture (from a family friend): the rustic wooden ceilings, the "relaxed environment", recycling furniture and materials. DIY projects with pallets, old wooden fruit boxes, wood from Monchique sawmill: we had fun creating, painting and re-inventing each corner, as a family: each piece has its own story.
“Nature & Soul” has the unequaled nature of the "Costa Vicentina", our soul and the soul of who ever comes to visit.
It intends to be the place where the soul settles down and reconnects with nature and itself.
A space that was tought for a city life pause, for reflexion, respecting mother nature.
With an enormous potential for outdoor activities and sports: surf, hiking, birdwatching, horse-riding, para-gliding, amongst many others. A space for all the family, stripped of prejudices, pollution, consumerism, dressed only of stars.
Thank you so much for hosting us in yor peaceful and amazing house. It´s truly in the middle of nature, with all of the modern luxuries, and a small drive away from all of the local towns and restaurants. Vanessa and Luis were quick to respond to all of our questions and needs. Hopefully we´ll get to come back to this amazing house one day!
Wonderful place in the middle of the nature with the most amazing view and the perfect location if you want to go for the west and south beaches. We found everything we needed in this cosy house and had the best time there. Will surely come back! (...)
