"Nature & Soul" was born of a small seed, a very bright dream in the mind and heart of someone who was looking for their purpose of life on the other side of the world. The concept, still without a place, was maturing as we traveled: absorbing influences and renewing itself to each new inspiration. The place, oh, the place already existed, many years before, just awaiting to be rediscovered. And, as it usually happens in the Universe, the minute we allow ourselves the opening of the soul´s eyes, the magic started happening and everything converted for the dream to come true...
V - Woman, Mother, Portuguese, Citizen of the world. A doctor´s job in a human heart - felt the need for some lightness... I am my beloved ones, the place where I grew up, the books I read and all the corners where I´ve lived. I am the present and all the future dreams my heart can carry... but I am so much more than that when I reconnect myself with the green that surrounds me, and with the sounds of the world that continuously moves, but that I can only hear when I am able to "stop".
L - A dreamer. In love for life and everything that surrounds me: different cultures, the purity of nature, the sunrise that sets in the infinity of life´s horizon. I want to embrace all the smiles that the "journey" brings me as I travel this world. I am part of the seed, maybe the "nature" of "Nature&Soul".
V&L - We met in the end of 2007 and celebrated the beginning of our journey together on the 08.08.08 at Barranco beach (3 km from N&S). Free, mad and madly in love, we´ve travelled the world, discovering places, cultures, the purpose of life and ourselves. Away from Portugal from 2009 to 2019: Africa, USA, Caribbean, UK.
V&L = L&Y - In 2013, the Universe gifted our love with little L, and later, in 2017, again with little Y : Our inspiration and light, our reason for living - The joy of Nature&Soul.

Stunning place made with a lot of love. Surrounded by nature, quiteness and an amazing night sky. L. and V. were wonderful hosts, so kind and attemptive.
This is certainly the place to nourish the soul - for this part of the world we didnt find a better location. There is little development and so many stars because there is no light pollution. Zavial beach is one of the most beautiful at all times of the day . Wonderful area to explore, both coastal walking and mountain villages. At this time of year, the fire was an added bonus to come home to each evening. Thank you both for making this such a special stay.
The hosts V. and L. are amazing! They are very kind and have great hints for the surroundings. The place is peaceful and wonderful. The house is lovely furnitured. Everything I needed was there and it was totally clean. What can I say more: Enjoy, relax and love it. Thank you and see you again!
